Encounter massive glaciers, majestic rock formations, cascading waterfalls, historic buildings and a variety of plant and animal life, from the unique vantage point of a kayak.

From our pier you'll take a van ride to Skagway's small boat harbor where all equipment will be provided before you board your state-of-the-art, highly stable, two-person kayak.

Following a brief practice session in the harbor, your group will then head toward the beautiful Taiya Inlet at the head of Lynn Canal. Accompanied by an experienced naturalist, you'll paddle quietly along the scenic coastline in search of harbor seals, otters, salmon, eagles, orcas, and a variety of other wildlife species. Your knowledgeable guide will also provide fascinating insight into the nearby historic Klondike Gold Rush National Park and the gold-era ghost town of Dyea.

After further exploration of the inlet's waters, you'll take a leisurely paddle back to the small-boat harbor pier where you'll reboard the van.

Approximately 2-1/2 hours.
