Is there a more authentic way to enjoy Alaska than to ride through an historic Gold Rush site behind a team of powerful huskies?

You'll begin with a narrated look at historic Skagway and its residential districts by van. From atop the Overlook there are superb views of the town and cruise ship wharves, where the elegant Crystal Symphony will be docked.

Ahead lies a six-mile journey to back-country Dyea and the Klondike Gold Rush National Park. As the park nears, prepare yourself for the ride of your life—aboard a custom-made wheeled dog sled. This two-mile adventure will trace the waterfront of the Gold rush settlement of Dyea, an area brimming with a wonderfully colorful past. As your dog team mushes on, you'll be reliving the spirit of those bygone days.

Later, you'll cuddle some adorable husky puppies and sip a beverage as your guide describes the life of a musher and his team in the Great White North! Soon after, you'll return by van to the ship.
