Bring your curiosity and a sense of adventure to this mountain biking experience, along a route to the south of Ketchikan. Awe inspiring views of the rain forest, open sea, islands and inlets await your discovery as you pedal along the Inside Passage.

From our pier, you'll take the Tongass Highway on a 13-mile bus journey to George inlet, where your bike ride will begin. You'll be cycling along an unsealed, gently rolling road with very little traffic. Friendly guides will point out waterfalls, eagles and other wildlife before taking you into the Whitman Lake Hatchery where an interpretative presentation will be provided about the salmon's life cycle.

There will also be excellent opportunities to take photographs and to generally learn about this area's fascinating natural and cultural history. At the conclusion of the bike ride, you'll return by bus to the ship.

This is an unbeatable combination of great sightseeing and invigorating exercise.

Approximately 3 hours.
