St. Lazaria is a 67-acre island encompassing a National wildlife Refuge, which lies at the foot of an inactive volcano. Cruise there in the companionship of a strictly limited number of guest.

After the 15-mile sea crossing to St. Lazaria, you'll be confronted with the fascinating spectacle of precarious nests on steep cliffs as well as numerous birds swimming and on the wing.

The island hosts nesting tufted puffins, common and thick-bill murres, rhinoceros auklets and more. Your skipper, who is also an experienced naturalist, will slowly circumnavigate the island for close-up views of this bird lovers' paradise.

Sightings of bald eagles and their nest are also common during the journey to and from the island. This is an adventure you won't forget.

Approximately 3 hours.
