Magnificent Kuala Lumpur has a profusion of evergreen gardens and parks.  Compare the capital's rich display of flora and fauna with other must-see sights on this unique overview.

You'll proceed directly from our pier on a 45-minute journey to Kuala Lumpur's Lake Gardens.  Feast your eyes on exotic species of orchid hybrids before admiring brightly-hued hibiscus blooms, Malaysia's national flower.

Literally thousands of indigenous birds fly freely in a natural and beautifully landscaped environment at the adjoining Bird Park.  A stone's throw away is the Butterfly Park where exotic butterflies flutter from flower to flower.

Refreshed after this introduction to Kuala Lumpur's abundant natural gifts, you'll proceed to lunch at the Carcosa Seri Negara.  This delightful restaurant is set within a stately mansion, designed and built by the first British resident of the Federation of Malaysia.

In the early afternoon, you'll stop for photos at a selection of not-to-be-missed sights.  See the Moorish architecture of the Railway Station and Sultan Abdul Samad Building.  Then survey the Tudor-style Royal Selangor Club and the impressive royal Palace before taking a stroll through mysterious Chinatown.

Your acquaintance with Kuala Lumpur's old world charm will conclude with a return drive to the ship.

Approximately 8-1/2 hours.
