Barcelona is one of the Mediterranean's most impressive and best-planned cities.  Admire its bountiful attractions from a comfortable air-conditioned motor coach.

You'll first proceed to Picasso Avenue beside Ciutadella Park before passing the Arc de Triumf, which was built for the International Exhibition of 1888.

After glimpsing the cathedral on Via Layetana, you'll see the historic roman and medieval walls.  Shortly afterwards, you'll enter Coln Avenue to admire the monument to Christopher Columbus.  Next, you'll follow Las Ramblas, a popular walking street lined with busy shops, hotels and offices.

Your attention will be drawn to the houses in striking modernist style along Paseo de Gracia before your coach crosses diagonal Avenue, headed for the magnificent unfinished cathedral of Sagrada Familia.

You'll then continue to Barcelona's modern quarter, which is home to many financial institutions and elite residential properties.  After following via Augusta and bonanova Avenues, you'll confront the Pedralbes Monastery, which dates back to 1326.   Nearby lies the famous Gaudi-designed Dragoon Gate.

Before returning to the pier, you'll ascend Olympic Mountain to Montjuic.

Approximately 2-1/2 to 3 hours.
