Auckland combines modern and cosmopolitan influences with engaging Polynesian ways.  Come along as we explore its highlights.

Proceed directly to Mount Eden, the city's highest pint, where the city and gulf panoramas are a photographer's delight.  You'll then pass the golden-sand beaches of Okahu Bay, Mission Bay, Kohimarama and St. Heliers, along a road flanked by the sparkling Waitemata Harbor and tree-lined cliffs.

After continuing through the quaint, stylish suburb of Parnell, you'll glimpse the rose Gardens with their multitude of colorful rose blooms.

The Auckland domain consists of nearly 200 acres of parkland in the city's heart.   It encompasses ponds, statuary, tropical glass houses, daffodils and a Museum set within this peaceful retreat houses an impressive collection of Maori and Pacific artifacts.  Wander past exhibits that include a carved Meeting House and an impressive canoe, before pursuing the excellent sections devoted to New Zealand's involvement in overseas wars.

Before returning to the ship, you'll view Westhaven Marina for views of countless pleasure boats and the Harbor Bridge, built from an impressive 3,200 feet of steel, which links the North shore and downtown.

Note:  A minimum number of bookings is required to operate.  At the conclusion of this tour, you'll proceed to the Centra Auckland Hotel, where a hospitality area has been set aside.  Later, you'll be transferred to the airport in ample time to complete departure formalities for your outward flight.

Approximately 3 1/2 hours.
