Naha, Okinawa, Japan
     Far East Cruise Port

The main port on the south-west side of this small island off the coast of Japan, Naha is the gateway into Okinawa’s intriguing past. Once an independent kingdom, the Kingdom of Ryukyus, Okinawa thrived on trading, which contributed to the fascinating blend of cultures and languages exhibited on the island. Karate, long associated with Asia, was first developed in Okinawa, and it is here that many international competitions and training take place today.
